Yesterday we had the opportunity to witness the baptism of my niece Zyan. We are so proud of her for making the choice to follow the example of our Savior. Watching her enter the waters of baptism with all of her younger cousins watching was such a special experience. She is such a good example to them.
After the baptism we gathered as a family at Zyan's house for lunch.
We ate soft tacos, nachos, cookies, and brownies.
Zyan opened the gifts we brought for her--the most special of which was a book her mom compiled of letters all of her loved ones wrote to her. She loved it.
I love being an aunt and am so grateful I was able to take part in Zyan's special day.
