July 2011 can officially go down in the record books as the busiest month of my life--ever! It was insane but I'm happy to report I survived and can now breathe again. Yay! Here's a look at some of the fun I got to have:
Youth Conference: Youth conference was held at
Syndermill in Park City and was a blast! I love the young women I serve and felt blessed to get to spend so much time learning from their amazing examples.
Designer Blogs Conference: All of the designers I work with came to town for a weekend so we could learn how to design in
Wordpress and talk about the future of
Designer Blogs. It's always fun to get together with other computer nerds like myself to talk computer code and learn new things. My head was spinning by the end of the day but I learned a ton and loved getting to know the girls I work with better.
Girls Camp: Girls camp was held at
Heber Valley Camp and was such an amazing experience. At the beginning of the Summer we only thought we'd have four girls be able to come to camp but we miraculously ended up having nine girls from our ward attend. It was such a blessing to have them all there and I loved the the bond camp created between the girls and the leaders. I seriously love these girls!
San Diego: We ended the month with a much needed vacation to San Diego. We chose San Diego because that's where Bryson's birthmom lives and we thought it would give us a good chance to spend some time with her. We went to
Lego Land,
Sea World and the beach and had such a great time! We love mommy Kim to pieces and are happy we got to have so much fun with her!
Now, back to life (& blogging) as usual...
