It's Nursery Time!

Bryson is 18 months old today! What an amazing blessing he continues to be in our lives. He went to nursery for the first time this past Sunday and did fabulous! He literally leaped out of my arms when I took him into the nursery room and seemed so excited to be there. I fully expected him to cry the moment he realized I was gone, but he surprised me big time and didn't even care that he had been left with complete strangers. He spent the full two hours there and seemed to love every minute of it. The nursery workers said he was wonderful and didn't cry once! I was so proud of him!


This morning was his 18 month check up and these are his stats:

Weight: 24 lbs (24th %tile)
Length: 31.5 inches (27th %tile)
Head Circumference: 18.5 inches (27th %tile)

Because he's kind of a little guy the doctor said he probably won't ever grow to be over 6'2" tall or so, but is very proportionate for his size and is growing and developing perfectly!

Yesterday for Terrific Tuesday my sister and I hiked the Y. The cool breeze and smell of fall in the air made it the perfect day to hike.

Bryson slept most of the way up while I sweated my brains out due to the 24 extra pounds strapped to my back.

At the top Bryson loved finding rocks and I enjoyed looking at the beautiful leaves changing on the mountain side.

Bryson was so cute and kept giving me hugs on the way down. Man, I love my little man!
