The day we have been waiting for is finally here! Our adoption is finalized and Bryson is legally ours!!! We had such a wonderful experience! It began early this morning at the Provo courthouse. We went before the amazing Judge Stott and had to testify of our love for Bryson. Our case worker from
LDS Family Services was there and also testified in our behalf.
Our lawyer,
Todd Wahlquist, did a fabulous job!!! Although the proceedings were very formal, the judge was a
very nice man and was happy to take pictures with us afterwards. For some reason there was a prisoner in chains and a jumpsuit sitting in the jury box and he kept waving and smiling at Bryson. It was kind of funny. My heart just burned and my eyes filled with tears as the judge pronounced Bryson ours. We love him SO MUCH and can't wait to make him eternally ours this evening.
